Andrew K. Porter
Andrew Kent Porter graduated from the Regent University School of law in 2010. At graduation, Porter was honored for his inclusion in “Who’s Who Among American College and University Students” for his outstanding achievements while attending Regent. During his tenure at the law school he was chosen as a Blackstone Fellowship recipient, served as the Managing Editor for the school’s Law Review, participated in negotiations training and competitions, and graduated in the top 5% of his law class. Andrew was widely respected by his fellow students as well as the University faculty. While at school he also assisted a tenured professor in completing a nationally published treatise and held a number of important internships (including the American Center for Law and Justice and one of the Hampton Roads leading law firms).
Upon graduation, Porter moved home to Knox County. Since his return, he has been active in his local church, Harvest Bible Chapel, has served as a youth pastor for Word of Life in Bicknell, IN, and has organized the young lawyers section of the Knox County Bar Association. Before his legal career, Andrew graduated from North Knox High School, Vincennes University and Indiana State University. Much like his Regent experience, he received numerous accolades and awards from each school attended. While at Vincennes University he initiated a “Heroes” themed day camp for at risk juveniles.
Presently, Drew concentrates his law practice in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, family law, and real estate. With Feavel, he serves as legal counsel for the Vincennes Community School Corporation and is himself the attorney for the Knox County Council and the Knox County Redevelopment Commission. As a general practitioner he serves the varied legal needs of his clients, both individual and corporate.
